Laredo, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball fell to UT-Permian Basin in three sets (25-18, 25-23, 25-23) on Friday.
The Dustdevils (15-8, 6-4 LSC) finished with 30 kills as a team compared to 42 for the Falcons. TAMIU recorded one ace, seven blocks, 39 assists and 71 digs. UTPB finished with five aces, two blocks, 37 assists and 68 digs.
Ariana Guerra, Hannah Thompson and Mia Molina all recorded a team-high nine kills for the Dustdevils.
Jasmin Garcia served three aces and Thompson, Molina, Garcia and Presley Vaitai all recorded a block assist.
Emma Lade led the team in assists and digs with 33 and 17 respectively.
Texas A&M International will be in action next at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 28 at home against Angelo State (19-4, 9-2 LSC).
