LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International University head women's soccer coach Jovany Macias announced the signing of Alondra Gonzalez to the 2023 class on Friday.

A native of El Paso, Texas, Gonzalez joins TAMIU after completing her high school career at Canutillo High School.

Gonzalez in her time at Canutillo was named All-District Honorable Mention and All-District Defensive MVP.

Alongside her high school career, Gonzalez played her club soccer for West Texas Rush.

Gonzalez chose TAMIU because of the soccer program, the campus, and the location. She believes TAMIU is a great school where she can continue her education and soccer path.
