LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International University head women's soccer coach,
Jovany Macias announced the 2023 schedule on Tuesday.
The Dustdevils open the 2023 season with a two-game home weekend against Mississippi College on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. and then will meet Sul Ross State on Sept. 3 for an 11 a.m. matinee.
A road trip to New York/New Jersey follows next week, with a matchup in East Rutherford, N.J. against Felician on Sept. 8, followed by a meeting with College of Staten Island in Staten Island, N.Y. on Sept. 10.
The non-conference schedule concludes a week later, on Sept. 16, with a 7 p.m. home match against Florida Southern.
Lone Star Conference play kicks off on Sept. 23 as TAMIU heads to West Texas A&M, then to San Angelo, Texas to meet Angelo State on Sept. 27.
The Dustdevils conference home opener is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30 when they meet Texas Woman's.
Home LSC matchups following include visits from Lubbock Christian (Oct. 7), St. Edward's (Oct. 11), Eastern New Mexico (Oct. 21), Oklahoma Christian (Oct. 28) and the home regular season finale against UT Permian Basin (Oct. 31).
All home conference games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
The remaining road LSC schedule see TAMIU make the trip to UT Tyler (Oct. 4), Midwestern State (Oct. 14), St. Mary's (Oct.18) and the final regular season game at DBU (Nov. 1).
The Lone Star Conference Tournament is scheduled to begin with the first round on Tuesday, Nov. 7, with the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 10 and the LSC Championship Game on Sunday, Nov. 12.
The first round will be hosted by the higher seeds and the semifinals and finals will take place at the top overall seed's facility.
