San Antonio, Texas - The Texas A&M International Men's and Women's cross country teams displayed their resilience and determination at the UIW XC Invitational, giving it their all despite the challenging course and fierce competition. The men's team secured a commendable 7th place out of 11 teams in the team standings. Leading the charge for the Dustdevils was
Josphat Langat, who claimed an impressive 5th place in the individual standings with a time of 25:03.9.
Emmanuel Langat wasn't far behind, finishing 8th with a time of 25:06.1. Their strong performances set the tone for the team.
Malvin Boen,
Alan Hernandez,
Ethan Chavez,
Aldo Cantu, and
Daniel Villarreal also put in solid efforts to contribute to the team's overall success.
On the women's side, the team faced tough competition, finishing 11th out of 11 teams in the team standings. However, Beverlyne Kipchumba demonstrated her determination and skill by securing an 18th-place finish in the individual standings with a time of 22:55.2.
Giselle Aguilar, Jazlynn Villalobos,
Samantha Alvarez, and
Rose Iminza also displayed great resilience, tackling the challenging course and giving it their all.
