LAREDO, Texas — The Texas A&M International University women's cross country team has been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning NCAA Division II All-Academic Team honors following the 2025 season.
The Dustdevils posted a team grade point average of 3.16, meeting the NCAA's academic standards for Division II recognition and underscoring the program's commitment to success both academically and athletically.
Under the direction of head coach Benny Rodriguez, the women's cross country program continues to emphasize the importance of academic accountability alongside competitive performance. The All-Academic Team honor reflects the dedication and discipline of TAMIU's student-athletes, who balance the demands of collegiate competition with their academic responsibilities.
The NCAA Division II All-Academic Team award recognizes programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher, celebrating institutions that exemplify the Division II philosophy of developing well-rounded student-athletes.
