2015-16:
Salom played in all 27 games, starting in 20 of those games. She pulled in 88 rebounds and scored 115 points. Salom was named to the Heartland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014-15:
Played 25 games for TAMIU, averaging 12.1 minutes per game, and 2.0 points per game. Reached a FG percentage of .224%, 3FG percentage of .207%, and FT percentage of .630%. Averaged 1.7 rebounds per game, 0.7 assists per game, 1.4 turnovers per game and 0.4 steals per game.

2011-14: Foothill College
Salom started her collegiate athletic career playing for Foothill College for (2) seasons. In those seasons, she earned All-Conference honors. During her time at Foothill, Salom received an Associates degree.

High School: James Logan High School (Class of 2011)
At James Logan High School, Salom lettered in Basketball for (3) years.  She earned the honors of MVP, 1st Team All-League, Defense Award, and served as Team Captain. Salom also lettered (2) years in Volleyball and (1) year in Track and Field.
 
Club Basketball: Untouchables
Competed for (6) seasons with Team Untouchables.

Personal:
Salom is the daughter of Brandy and Lianne Salom. She is the sister to Ryan Salom and Kayla Salom. Chelsea is involved in community work at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Her hobby is to watch movies. An interesting fact about Chelsea is that she likes to collect various types of socks. Chelsea chose to attend TAMIU because it was the best option to help her succeed with basketball and academics.  Her future aspirations are to receive her bachelor's degree from TAMIU, then continue going to school to receive her Master's degree in physical therapy. In her spare time, she likes to enjoying the company of her family and friends.
