2015:
In her final season Prieto played in 87 sets. She finished with a hitting percentage of .203. She recorded 298 digs on the year. Prieto averaged 3.43 digs per set. 

2014:
As a Junior Prieto played in 80 sets. She had 68 kills with hitting percentage of .146. She had 38 total blovks and averaged 2.38 digs/set.

2013:
In her second season witht he Dustdevils Prieto played in 97 sets. She led the team with 832 assists, third in the Heartland Conference. She finished with 91 kills and had a hitting percentage of .168. She was second on the team with 232 digs for the season.

2012:
As a Freshman Prieto played in (8) sets. She recorded 40 assists, 12 digs, and (3) kills.

High School: J.B. Alexander High School (Class of 2012)
Prieto graduated from Alexander High School in Laredo, Texas. She lettered in soccer and track for (2) years. She lettered in volleyball and basketball for (3) years, both of which she plays at TAMIU. in 2009 Prieto was named Laredo Morning Times Newcomer of the Year, she also was named Second Team All-District. In 2010 she was named District MVP. In 2011 Prieto was named District 6A Co-MVP, District 6A Outstanding Hitter, and Laredo Morning Times MVP. Prieto was named First Team All-District in (3) consecutive years (2010,2011,2012).

Personal: 
Lizzie is the daughter of Jose and Elizabeth Prieto. She has one sister, Jessica. Prieto chose TAMIU because of the atmosphere on campus and the proximity to home. Her favorite athlete is Lolo Jones and the inspiring people in her life include her mother, Princess Diana, Maya Angelou, and Emma Watson. Her favorite book is "If Only Tonight We Could Sleep." After TAMIU Prieto wants to be a physician's assistant. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching movies, sleeping, and singing (very off-key). Her favorite quote is, "The only thing that stands between a person and what she wants from life is often merely the will to try it and the faith to believe it is possible." - Richard M. DeVos
