2017:
Zuniga finished his career at TAMIU on a high-note starting in all 18 matches logging 1,537 minutes. The Laredo, Texas product scored one goal while adding an assist en route to leading the Dustdevils to the Heartland Conference Semifinals. He registered seven shots including a season-high two against Oklahoma Christian and Dallas Baptist. Played a season-high 110 minutes against Fort Lewis and UT Permian Basin. Played left back on a defense that ranked 16^th nationally in teams goals against average (.744) and 14^th in save percentage (.829). 

2016:
Zuniga was a force in the midfield for the Dustdevils making 15 appearances including 13 starts as a junior. He registered 1,099 minutes including a career-high 104 against Dallas Baptist on Oct. 27. He scored two goals for a total of four points on 16 shots for a shot percentage of .125. He had a season-high four shots in a 4-0 win over Eastern New Mexico on Sept. 24.

2015:
As a Sophomore Zuniga appeared in 17 games for the Dustdevils, starting (8) games. Aaron played 609 minutes, recording (1) goal and (2) assists.

2014:
As a Freshman, Zuniga appeared in 17 games. Aaron scored (2) goals and recorded (2) assists. Aaron finished the season with 17 shots.

High School (United High School)
Aaron lettered in soccer for (4) seasons. in 2009 he was named Newcomer of the Year. In 2010 and 2011 Aaron was named to the All-District 29-5A First Team. In 2012 Zuniga was named MVP.

Personal:
Aaron is the son of Miguel Zuniga and Elsa Alvarez. He has two siblings, Rodrigo Zuniga and Miguel Zuniga. His favorite athlete is Lionel Messi. His favorite book is the Bible. Aaron's favorite vacation spot is Bradenton, Fla. After TAMIU he wants to become a physical therapist. His favorite quote is "I can do everything through Christ, who strenghtens me." Aaron chose TAMIU because it offered great opportunities.
