Appeared in three games playing a total of eight minutes. He recorded one assist in three minutes of action in the Dustdevils 106-84 victory over Paul Quinn College on Nov. 18 in Laredo.

2015-16:
Sherman was named to the Heartland Conference President's Honor Roll.
 
High School: United High School
In High School, Sherman lettered in Football (1) year, Basketball (4) years, and track (2) years. While attending high school, Sherman was named to the All City 2^nd team in Basketball.
 
Personal:
Sherman is the son of Nikki and Elwynn Sherman. He is a brother to Ethan, Evan, and Elijah Sherman.  He chose TAMIU because he liked the tradition of winning, and enjoyed how close to home it is. Sherman’s most inspirational figure is his father Elwynn Sherman. Sherman’s future aspirations include pursuing a masters degree in wildlife and science. In his spare time, Sherman likes to read the bible and play chess.
