Johnson started his collegiate career playing for Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, Wyoming for (2) years. In those season, he earned 2015 Lancer Award, Academic All Region and the NJCAA Academic All American. During his time at Eastern Wyoming, Johnson completed an Associates Degree in Business Administration.

High School: Delta High School (Class of 2013)
At Delta High School, Johnson lettered in Basketball for (4) years as a Point Guard, Baseball for (4) years as a Shortstop and Football for (4) years as a Quarterback. During these seasons, Johnson earned All Region in Basketball, Team Golden Glove in Baseball as well as Utah 3A All Star Team and he was named Team Captain for Football. He also was named Delta High School Male Athlete of the Year 2013.

Personal:
Johnson is the son of Julie and Dave Johnson. He is a brother to Lacey, Ashley, Trevor, Brittany, Jordan, Jace and Tanner. Johnson chose to attent TAMIU because he liked the program, coaches and their success. His inspiration is his Family. His future aspiration is to get his degree in Law and his Masters in Business Administration. His favorite player is Gordan Hayward of the Utah Jazz. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family.
