 United Soccer Coaches Men's All-South Central Region Second Team

Perales registered a career-high five goals including the game-winner in a 2-0 Lone Star Conference victory over St. Mary's (Sept. 26). The First Team All-LSC selection made 19 starts, recorded a career-high 12 points (5 goals and 2 assists) that marked his second-straight season in which he compiled double-digit points. The 2019 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Men's All-South Central Region Second Team honoree helped anchor a defense that recorded seven shutouts by blanking the likes of St. Mary's, DBU, West Texas A&M (twice), Eastern New Mexico, Oklahoma Christian and UT Permian Basin. He also recorded TAMIU's first assist in an NCAA Tournament match in the opening round against Colorado School of Mines.
  
2018:
Perales played 17 games and started 10 games, score 4 goals, had 2 assists, and played for over 1234 minutes for the Dustdevils.

2017:
Perales had a great first season on the pitch for the Dustdevils appearing in 17 matches with 16 starts logging 1,090 minutes. He scored two goals including the game-winner against West Texas A&M on the road. Recorded his first-career assist in TAMIU’s come-from-behind victory over nationally-ranked St. Edward’s on Oct. 5. Recorded 19 shots with a career-high three coming against Dallas Baptist on Sept. 16. 

2016:
Redshirt.

High School:
Perales played soccer as forward as well as football and track for the United South Panthers. He was named MVP All-District, Top Scorer, and Team Captain.
 
Club Soccer: 
Perales played for the Laredo Heat for 4 years.

Personal:
Elias Perales is son of Rosie and Elias Perales and is joined by his lone sister Leslie Perales. He decided to make his way to TAMIU because it was closest to home. His most inspirational figure is his father Elias. His future aspirations and goals is to become a coach and a professional athlete. His favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Real Madrid as well as the National Soccer Team of Portugal. He enjoys playing video games in his spare time.
