2019 All-Lone Star Conference Second Team

2019:
Izgec compiled career highs of five goals, including a trio of game-winners, and a dozen points. The All-Lone Star Conference Second Team selection also recorded the lone goal that was registered in a LSC victory on the road over No. 22 West Texas A&M (Oct. 10). 

2018:
Izgec played 17 started and 16 games had 3 goals, 5 assists, and played 1510 minutes for the Dustdevils

2017:
Izgec appeared in seven matches in 2017 logging 127 minutes. He finished the season with six shots, two of those on-target, and one assist. He registered his first career assist in a 3-0 victory over Rogers State on Oct. 19. He also played a career-high 31 minutes against the Hillcats with three shots. 

2016: 
Redshirt.

High School:
Izgec attended high school at Friedrich-Magnus-Schwerd-Gymnasium Speyer where he played soccer all 4 years as a central midfielder.
 
Club Soccer: 
Izgec played for 8 years on FC Speyer 09 as a central midfielder for the club.

Personal: 
Cem Izgec is the son of Kuersiye and Yueksel Izgec and has a sister, Selin (26). He decided to make the trip to Laredo to join TAMIU becuase of the coaching staff, the university's academic reputation, as well as the multicultural setting of Laredo. His most inspirational figures are his parents as well as the late boxing legend, Muhammad Ali. His future aspirations and goals are to get a degree and to become a better soccer player. His favorite athlete is Zinedine Zidane who played for the French National Soccer Team. During his spare time, Izgec enjoys spending time with his friends, playing FIFA and swimming.
