Biography

Prior to TAMIU:
Santos Roig spent two season playing at Mineral Area College. At Mineral Area, she was named Second Team All-Region for the NJCAA Region XVI in 2019. She was just as successful in the classroom where she was a three-time Dean's List honoree and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Santos Roig graduated from Escuela Superior Juan Suarez Pelegrina. She played club volleyball for Playeras de Isabela and was a two-time tournament MVP in 2016 and 2017. She also spent time with the Next Level Academy, where she led her team to a third place finish in the 2017 AAU National Championships.

PERSONAL:
Santos Roig is the daughter of Maricruz Roig Bernardi and Carlos Javier Santos Rivera, and has two siblings. She is majoring in biology.
