2021 (Fall):
Blades played in 20 sets in 9 matches and finished the season with six kills, four digs, one service ace and one assist. 

2021 (Spring):
Blades played in 14 sets over eight matches with 13 kills, five digs, and one assist. 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Blades graduated from Georgetown HS and played for four years under Coach Jenny Richardson. At GHS, she was named the 2019 18-5A Blocker of the Year and was a TXSWA All-State honoree, as well as a two-time All-District performer. In her senior season, Blades logged 502 kills, 209 block assists and 107 aces. She currently holds the school record for most total blocks in season with 244.

PERSONAL:
Blades is the daughter of Leslie and Joe Blades, and has five siblings. Her great uncle, Ruben Blades, is a well-known salsa singer/song writer and multiple Grammy winner, an actor who has appeared in multiple films and television shows, including Predator 2, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, The Devils Own, Safe House, and most recently Fear the Walking Dead. She is majoring in kinesiology.
