2017:
Cruz appeared in 18 matches making 10 starts as a senior logging 729 minutes. He registered 19 shots, six of those on-target, for a shot on-goal percentage of .316. Had a season-high three shots against Dallas Baptist on Sept. 16. Played a season-high 90 minutes against #23 St. Edward’s and West Texas A&M. 

2016:
Appeared in seven matches including starting the first two matches of the 2016 season for the Dustdevils as a transfer. He registered one shot on goal during his 245 minutes on the pitch. He played a career-high 94 minutes against Adams State on Sept. 2.

Cruz played soccer as a midfielder for the Rams as he was named First Team All-District and MVP All-District.

Personal: Max Cruz is son of Rita and Jose Cruz and is joined by his (3) siblings: Jose, Katie, and Erika Cruz. His most inspirational figure is his mother. His future aspirations and goals is to graduate and to keep learning new things. His favorite athlete is Paul Pogba who plays for Manchester United as well as the French National Soccer Team. In his spare time, Cruz likes to watch soccer games or play video games.
