Biography
2015-16:
Prieto finished her career as a Dustdevil in historic fashion. Prieto was named a WBCA All-American, Week 9 Heartland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Prieto led the team with 83 Three-Point Field Goals. Prieto played and started in all 27 games, scoring 531 points. Prieto was named to the Heartland Conference President's Honor Roll and First Team All-Heartland Conference.

Played 26 games for TAMIU, averaging 37 minutes per game, and 17.4 points per game. Reached a FG percentage of .382%, 3FG percentage of .381%, and FT percentage of .753%. Averaged 4.4 rebounds per game, 4.0 assists per game, 3.0 turnovers per game, 2.1 steals per game, and 1.2 blocks per game. Following the season Prieto was named All-Heartland Conference 1st Team, she was also named First Team Capital One Academic All-District Team.
2013-14:
Played 28 games for TAMIU, averaging 29.2 minutes per game, and 9.1 points per game. Reached a FG percentage of .388%, 3FG percentage of .364%, and FT percentage of .726%. Averaged 3.6 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists per game, 2.4 turnovers per game, 1.0 steals per game, and 1.1 blocks per game.
2012-13: Mercer University
Prieto started her collegiate athletic career playing for Mercer University in Macon, Georgia for (1) season. In that season, she earned Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic honors.
High School: Alexander High School (Class of 2012)
At Alexander, Prieto lettered in Basketball for (4) years as a Point Guard. Prieto earned basketball honors of: Laredo Morning Times City MVP (2 yrs), 29-5A District MVP (2 yrs), All-Region (2 yrs), All-State (2 yrs), 1st Team All-District (3 yrs), All City Team (3 yrs), Weslaco Tournament MVP (2 yrs), and was named Dr. Keillor Tournament MVP and Border Olympics MVP (2 yrs). She also lettered for (2) years in Soccer, (1) year in Track and Field, and (1) year in Volleyball.

Personal:
Prieto is the daughter of Jose and Elizabeth Prieto. She is the twin sister of teammate Lizzie Prieto. Prieto chose to attend TAMIU because it provided her with an opportunity to contribute to a great basketball team and continue to pursue her educational goals. Her most inspirational figure is Batman. Her future aspirations are to become a successful CPA. In her spare time, she likes to play guitar, listen to music and watch movies.
