2015-16:
Mathews had a historic senior season with the Dustdevils. Mathews was named a WBCA All-American and First Team All-Heartland Conference. Mathews scored 555 points and hauled in a team-high 232 rebounds. In week 7 Mathews was named Heartland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
2014-15:
Played 25 games for TAMIU, averaging 31.8 minutes per game, and 13.2 points per game. Reached a FG percentage of .431%, 3FG percentage of .177%, and FT percentage of .667%. Averaged 5.2 rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game, 2.4 turnovers per game, 0.9 steals per game, and 0.4 blocks per game.

2012-14: College of the Canyons
Mathews started her collegiate athletic career playing for the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California for (2) seasons. In those seasons, she earned MVP and All-State honors. She also broke (6) school records. During her time at the College of the Canyons, Mathews completed an Associate of Arts degree.

High School: Antelope Valley High School (Class of 2012)
At Antelope Valley, Mathews lettered in Basketball for (4) years as a Point Guard. During these seasons, she earned MVP, All-Conference and Honorable Mention honors.
 
Club Basketball: Team R.I.E.N.G.
Mathews played (5) seasons for Team R.E.I.N.G. in Lancaster, California.

Personal:
Mathews is the daughter of Darlene Davis and Theodore Mathews. She is a sister to Vera, Travyone, Darin, Katrina, Shavon, Krystal, and Ashley. Mathews chose to attend TAMIU because of the coaching staff, the best fit for her education, and the opportunity to experience a new state. Her most inspirational figure is her Mother. Her future aspirations are to graduate with her Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology, play Professional Basketball overseas, and wishes to become a strength & condition coach down the road. In her spare time, she likes to work out, and enjoy time with her family and friends.
