The Dustdevils (1-1) will face Randall (1-6) on Friday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m. before returning to Bill Greehey Arena for the first ever match up against Wisconsin-Parkside (0-2) at 5 p.m. on Nov. 18.

ABOUT TAMIU…
The Dustdevils enter the second weekend of the season 1-1 (.500) after splitting two games at the Conference Challenge last weekend inside the TAMIU Kinesiology and Convocation Building. TAMIU averages 69.0 points per game on 45% (51-111) shooting while shooting 41% (19-46) from three-point range. They rank atop the Heartland Conference in rebounding (39.5) with their 36 assists ranking second.

Senior guard Jeremy Wright (13.0 ppg, 6.5 apg) leads the team in scoring and assists after scoring a career-high 16 in the season opener against Chadron State. The Gardena, Calif. product went 5-of-10 from the field including 4-of-6 from three while dishing out a game-high eight assists in the Dustdevils 72-64 win over the Eagles. Newcomer Xabier Gomez (12.5 ppg) ranks second on the team in scoring after a team-high 14 points in TAMIU's set back to South Dakota Mines.

Dan Milota (12.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg) leads the team in shooting percentage at 55.0% at 11-of-20 from the field including a 7-of-10 performance against CSC. Fellow senior Kamari Robinson (9.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg) made his first career starts last weekend scoring a total of 18 points while pulling down eight rebounds in 41 minutes.

Chris McDonald (6.5 ppg) and Danny Spinuzza (6.0 ppg, 2.5 apg) gave the Dustdevils solid minutes off the bench including an 11-point effort by McDonald in the season opener. Damon Leach (3.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg) has played 22 minutes off the bench in the post for TAMIU with a seven point, five rebound effort against the Hardrockers.

ABOUT RANDALL…
Located in Morre, Okla., with an enrollment 225, Randall enter Friday's game 1-6 with six of those games coming away from home. The Saints are coached by Mark Berokoff who is RECORD in his sixth season at RU. Last year Randall went 16-10 including a perfect 9-0 in conference play.

Xavier Hunter (15.5 ppg) is the leading scorer for the Eagles shooting 41.1% from the field, 33.3% from three and 92.3% from the free throw line. He has eclipsed the 20-point mark twice this season including a 23-point effort against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Nov. 2. Senior Trey Sneed (12.5 ppg) is the only other Randall player in double figures with the forward making 37.8% shots in 29 minutes of play.

ABOUT WISCONSIN-PARKSIDE…
Located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with an enrollment of 4,276, Wisconsin-Parkside lost their first two games of the season against Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan last weekend. The Rangers are coached by Luke Reigel who is 218-185 in his 15
th season in Kenosha. In 2013, Last year, Reigel earned National Association Basketball Coaches (NABC) Midwest District Coach of the Year and Great Lakes Valley Conference Coach of the Year accolades after leading the Rangers to a 25-6 record and a fourth consecutive GLVC East Division title.Â

The Rangers have three players averaging 10 points per game including senior Jameel Moore who scored a season-high 15 points against NMU. Joe Borica is part of the trio that averages double-digits while pulling down a team-high 5.5 rebounds per game. Lee Linwood (8.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg) has struggled from the field (4-of-18) but has been the Rangers best free throw shooter going 9-of-13 from the charity stripe.

A TALE OF TWO GAMES…
The Dustdevils defeated the Eagles of Chadron State 72-64 on Friday, Nov. 10, at the TAMIU KCB for their first season opening victory since 2012-13. It was a career-night for seniors Jeremy Wright and Dan Milota while newcomer Xabier Gomez scored double-figures in his first career game. The Dustdevils outshoot the Eagles 47.2% to 38.2% including 47% from the three-point line.
TAMIU allowed the Hardrockers of South Dakota Mines to shoot 58.3% (14-24) from three in their 93-66 defeat the following day at the TAMIU KCB. The Dustdevils struggled to contain Jake Heath and Troy Brady who combined for 36 points on 9-of-17 shooting from downtown. Gomez recorded double-figures for the second game in a row in the losing effort with a team-high 14.

SEVERAL NEW FACES MAKE FIRST APPEARANCE
The Dustdevils had seven new players see action for the first time at TAMIU, including true freshman Marek Hajek. Junior transfer Xabier Gomez made his Dustdevil debut with two starts including a season-high 14 points against South Dakota Mines.

The Dustdevils will travel to Kingsville, Texas on Nov. 21 for a midweek matchup against Texas A&M-Kingsville followed by a return trip to Laredo for the Javelinas on Nov. 24.Â
