LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International women's soccer will open up the season on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 12 p.m. to host Lone Star Conference foe, UT Permian Basin in a non-conference showdown.

Last season, TAMIU put together a 4-12-0 record in 2018.  Head coach Felipe Arias will have new assistant coaches on the sidelines this season as Jonathan Tiggs and Ladule Lako LoSarah bolster his staff.

Last season, the Falcons went 2-15-0 under head coach Lindsey Garcia. This season, Garcia's roster consists of 11 upperclassmen including 10 returners from last season. 

In their last eight matchups, dating back to 2012, TAMIU is 5-2-1 against UT Permian Basin. Last season, the Dustdevils kicked off the 2018 campaign with a 3-2 road victory over the Falcons.
