LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International University and the TAMIU Department of Athletics is saddened to learn about the sudden passing of former Dustdevil men's basketball player Antron Pippen on Monday, April 19.

Pippen, a member of the 2008-2009 Dustdevil basketball team, spent one season at TAMIU and in that season, he appeared in 21 games, making two starts.

He finished the season averaging 3.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and was fifth on the team in free throw percentage, shooting 73% from the line.
