DALLAS, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball suffered its first loss in conference play, falling to DBU 3-0 to conclude the weekend road trip.

In set one, TAMIU was doing the damage early, holding a 15-10 lead past the halfway point. However, the Patriots (16-3, 7-1 LSC) would use a 13-0 run and 15-1 run overall the remainder of the set to take a 25-16 victory.
Â
Set two saw DBU hold a 14-7 lead after utilizing a 6-0 run, but TAMIU trimmed the deficit to 15-13 with a 6-1 run of its own. The Dustdevils just couldn't bring the set any closer than a two-point deficit and fell 25-20.
Â
TAMIU trailed early set three, by a score of 13-7. A 4-0 Dustdevil run trimmed the deficit to 13-11, but again the Patriots took over, outscoring TAMIU 12-3 down the stretch, including a 7-0 run to end the game.
