Sandestin, Fla. – Texas A&M International women's golf competed at the Golfweek D2 Fall Invitational on Sunday through Tuesday where it finished third as a team out of 11.
The Dustdevils finished with a score of +27, one stroke behind Rogers State, which placed second. TAMIU shot 297 in the first round, 293 in the second and 289 in the third.
Yuliana Yapur tied for second individually with a score of +1, five strokes behind the medalist. Yapur shot 70 on day one and day two while shooting 74 on the final round.
Zoe Wurmli placed T-9 with a +7, Bailey Anderson and Thitapha Iamtragul took T-16 with +10 and Kathryn Castro placed T-28 with a +17.
The Dustdevils will be in action next on Monday Oct. 9 at the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational hosted by Colorado State Pueblo in Pueblo, Colo.
