INDIANAPOLIS - Texas A&M International University junior men's golfer Mauricio Figueroa heard his name called on the NCAA DII Men's Golf Regional Selection Show on Friday night and will represent TAMIU in the South Central Region Tournament.

Figueroa was outstanding in the Lone Star Conference Championships earlier this week, finishing third with a score of -5 (211).

The NCAA DII Men's Golf South Central/West Region Tournament will take place Thursday, May. 11 through Saturday, May. 13 in Rohnert, California.
