PALM BEACH, FL - The Texas A&M International Men's Golf team participated in the PGA works tour and finished third on Tuesday in Palm Beach, Florida.
Finishing five strokes behind second place's Morehouse College, TAMIU as a team went 57 over par (300/314/295=909) after three rounds of 18 holes.
Senior Elvis Steen led the way finishing four over par individually (72/76/72) collecting four birdies in round one and round three.
Junior Theodor With had a dominant first round finishing on par then collected a final round of seven over par.
Sophomore Brody Polzin finished (77/76/72) 9 over par with seven birdies over three rounds of play.
Both freshman Caleb Guerra (81/86/75) and Francisco Aceves (79/76/76) played well, combining six birdies over three rounds.
PGA Works is the final team play tournament where the Dustdevils will participate in this season.
Senior Juan Monckeberg will participate in the NCAA DII South/Central Regional in Stockton, CA from May 7th-9th. Monckeberg will represent TAMIU in the regional for his second straight year as a Dustdevil and his fourth straight year as a collegiate athlete.
