ROCKWALL, TEXAS – Senior Juan Monckeberg was selected for the 2026 Lone Star Conference All Conference Second Team.   

The Senior from Santiago, Chile has been selected for the All Conference Second Team after an impressive season of multiple top 25 finishes and placing first in Oklahoma Christian's Oak Tree Invitational.  

Heading into the conference championship Monckeberg has collected four top 25 individual performances, a tournament win in freezing temperatures, and LSC Golfer of The Week honors this season. He now has two individual wins in his career after placing first in the Yellowjacket Invitational last season.  

Before coming to TAMIU, Monckeberg played with the Glenville Pioneers of West Virginia winning 2023 Freshman of The Year, 2023 First Team All-Conference 2023, 2nd place MVP Conference List all while averaging 74.5. 

Head Coach Rodolfo Gonzalez spoke about Monckeberg's accomplishment.

Juan Monckeberg will participate with his team in the 2026 Lone Star Conference Championship Monday in Rockwall, Texas.
