Tucson, Arizona – The Dustdevils traveled to Arizona to compete in the West Texas A&M Desert Invite and matched their highest finish of the spring, finishing T4 in the two-day tournament, with
Yuliana Yapur winning the Individual title.
Yapur finished day one of the tournament with a -3 (69), putting her in a comfortable position for day two. With a +2 (74) in the second round, Yapur finished first overall with a -1 (143).
"Individually,
Yuliana Yapur played like one of the best players in the country," said head coach
Rudy Gonzalez. "Huge win for her in one the strongest fields in the country. We are extremely proud of her."
Bailey Anderson finished the tournament T20 with +10 (154).
Kathryn Castro finished with a top 40 finish with +15 (159) landing her at T37.
Zoe Wuermli finished +19 (163) and
Tanika Yadilokwong finished +27 (171).
The Dustdevils stay in Arizona to compete in the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, hosted by Western New Mexico on April 5-6.
