Pueblo, Colo. – Texas A&M International men's and women's cross country wrapped up their 2025 seasons Saturday morning at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships.
In the women's 6K, the Dustdevils placed 23rd out of 26 teams, highlighted by a pair of top-100 finishes.
Fancy Jelagat led the way for TAMIU, crossing the line in 71st with a time of 22:52.9, while
Brenda Chepkemboi followed in 92nd at 23:19.5.
On the men's side, TAMIU finished 21st of 24 teams, led by a standout performance from
Ian Rono, who qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships with a fourth-place overall finish in 30:13.8.
Paul Barmao was the Dustdevils' next finisher, clocking 33:25.4 in the 10K race.
Rono will represent TAMIU at the NCAA Division II National Championship Meet in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Nov. 22.
