Richardson, Texas — Texas A&M International University baseball standout Abiam Medina has been named to the Lone Star Conference Third Team, capping off a stellar 2025 campaign that showcased his consistency and power at the plate.

Medina, a key contributor for the Dustdevils, posted an impressive .353 batting average while starting 49 games this season. The senior racked up 65 hits, scored 47 runs, and tallied 12 doubles and 9 home runs. He also drove in 47 RBI, serving as a constant offensive force and helping lead TAMIU through a competitive LSC slate.

"Abiam was one of the most consistent players in our lineup this year," said head coach Ruben Rodriguez. "He delivered for us in key spots. This recognition is a reflection of the hard work he puts in every day."

This marks Medina's first All-LSC honor and underscores his emergence as one of the conference's top offensive threats. His combination of power, plate discipline, and durability made him a cornerstone of the Dustdevils' lineup throughout the 2025 season.
