PUEBLO, Colo. – Texas A&M International women's golf wrapped up its 2026 season with a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Division II West Regional, held May 4th and 5th at Pueblo Country Club in Pueblo, Colorado.
The Dustdevils posted a three-round team score of 989 (+125) against a nationally competitive 18-team regional field. TAMIU improved in the second round with a team score of 323 before closing the tournament with a 341 in the final round.
Margret Nyamukondiwa paced the Dustdevils throughout the tournament, finishing tied for 45th overall with a 54-hole score of 239 (+26). Nyamukondiwa opened the regional with rounds of 79 and 78 before carding an 82 in the final round. Her second-round 78 marked the team's lowest round of the tournament.
Ebba Nordin finished tied for 73rd at 247 (+34), highlighted by a strong second-round 79 after opening with an 86. Emilynn Tran closed the tournament tied for 84th with a 253 (+40), while Agathe Lacoste tied for 64th at 249 (+36). Kiara Montebon rounded out the Dustdevil lineup tied for 79th at 251 (+38).
TAMIU battled through difficult scoring conditions on the challenging Pueblo Country Club layout, competing against several nationally ranked programs in the NCAA postseason field.
The NCAA West Regional appearance capped another postseason run for the Dustdevils, who qualified to compete against the region's elite programs after earning their spot in the championship field during the spring season.
