Dustdevils Golf Heads To NCAA Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA  – Texas A&M International Golf will compete in the 2026 NCAA DII Championships beginning in May.  

The NCAA will host its championship consisting of 72 teams and 24 individuals for both men and women's golf.  

Dustdevils Women's Golf finished their season ranked number 52 in the nation among DII teams, claiming eight finishes of ten or higher as a team out of eight tournaments.  

The Dustdevils fresh off a 10th place finish in the LSC Golf Championship will head to Pueblo Colorado to compete in the West Regional hosted by Colorado State Pueblo on May 4th through the 6th.  On this same course, the Dustdevils collected a third-place team finish with Senior Margret Nyamukondiwa winning it individually this season.  This marks the fifth appearance in the NCAA DII Championship for women's golf since 2021.  

TAMIU Men's golf will be represented by Senior Juan Monckeberg. Monckeberg will be playing in the South Central Regional of Stockton,California against five other individuals on May 7th through the 9th.   

This season Monckeberg has collected four top 25 individual performances, a tournament win, and LSC Golfer of The Week honors. This will be his second individual performance in the NCAA DII Championship in his career.
