2018:
Garay made 10 appearances including seven starts on the mound for the Dustdevils where he went 0-6 with an ERA of 8.65. The senior hurler allowed 37 runs (33 earned) on 49 hits and 17 walks with 18 strikeouts 34 1/3 innings of work.

2016:
Garay made 11 appearances, tossing 21.1 innings. Garay picked up 20 strikeouts.

2015:
Garay appeared in (3) games for the Dustdevils as a Pitcher, pitching 3.1 innings.

High School: Lyndon B Johnson (Class of 2014)
Garay graduated in the top ten percent of his graduating class with a GPA of a 4.3. Erick lettered in baseball for (4) years. As a Pitcher he was awarded First Team Academic All-State, First Team All-District, and First Team All-State honors. He also made the 18 and under United States National Team. Garay lettered in Football for (4) years as the Quarterback. He was awarded Offensive Newcomer of the Year. First Team All-District, and First Team All-State honors. Erick also lettered in Track and Field for (3) years.
  
Club Sports: Laredo Pony All-Stars (Baseball 2009-2011)
Erick was a part of the Pony League World Series, where his team made it to the finals.
     
Personal:
Erick is the son of Jose and Jovita Garay. Erick is a brother to Arnold, Joanna and Ruby Garay. His hobbies include playing video games, playing guitar, hanging out with friends and family, and playing baseball. He chose TAMIU for the baseball program. After TAMIU Erick wants to be a D.E.A. Agent or Video Game Developer.
