2017:
Shireysaw time in 79 sets in 23 games with 22 starts for the Dustdevilsduring her redshirtfreshman season in 2017. She registered 151 kills (1.91/set) on 80 attack errors to go along with a team-high 49 blocks and 15 digs for a total of 185 points. Recorded 10 or more kills in four matches including a season-high 16 on Sept. 2 against Southern Arkansas. Shireyearned All-Tournament honors at the South Central Classic after picking up 36 kills, 11 blocks and two digs in four matches. 

2016:
Redshirt. 

High School: Hightower High School
Shireygraduated from Hightower High School in Houston, Texas. While at Hightower, Panebi played Volleyball, Basketball, and ran track and field.

Personal:
Shireyis the daughter of Mary Tombiri and Lee Shirey. She is a sister to Eghosa, Tari, Preda, and Bubba. Panebi chose TAMIU for its diverse community and international students. She loves the Laredo weather and established a strong bond with head coach Susie Jangada. Her most inspirational figure is Jesus Christ. In her free time, Panebi enjoys being goofy and laughing, hanging out with friends, listening to Beyonce, or watching movies especially Disney movies.
