2018:
Galvan made 18 appearances and 11 starts during her senior season in 2018 where she hit .185 with five hits and two RBIs. Recorded her first career multi-hit game against St. Edward’s on March 13. Had a career-high six putouts against Adams State on Feb. 9 in San Angelo. Was also successful on her only stolen attempt of the year against SEU. 

2017:
Galvan made 25 appearances including two starts as a utility player for the Dustdevils in 2017 where she hit .286 going 2-for-7 from the dish and scoring three times.

Transfer: Laredo Community College
Galvan played softball for (2) years for the Palominos as she also made the Dean's List for each semester. She also earned her Associates Degree in Biology.

High School: Del Rio High School (Class of 2014)
Galvan played (4) years of volleyball, (2) years of basketball, and (4) years of softball. Glavan played as a setter in volleyball and a pitcher in softball. During her time with the Rams, she earned several recognitions. In volleyball, she was named Team Captain, earned All-District, Outstanding Setter of the Year, First Team All-District, and Team MVP. In softball, she was named Team MVP and earned Defensive MVP honors along with being named to the Second Team All-District.

Personal: Avianna Galvan is the lone daughter of Adrinana and Sergio Galvan. She chose TAMIU because it feels like home away from home and because the coaching staff is very welcoming. Her most inspirational figure is her mother. Galvan's future aspirations are to become a chiropractor and to open her own practice. Her favorite athlete is Chris Paul who currently plays in the NBA for the Los Angeles Clippers. In her spare time, Galvan enjoys reading, watching Netfilx, and playing with her dog.
