2018:
The senior made nine appearances and one start in 2018 where she hit .143 going 1 for 7 from the plate. She recorded the second start of her career in the second game of a doubleheader against Tarleton State on April 3 in Laredo. She also picked up her first hit of the season against the nationally-ranked TexAnns in the same game. 

2017:
Salinas made nine appearances as a junior for the Dustdevils in 2017. She scored a run against Texas A&M-Commerce on March 26.

2016:
Salinas played in 27 games in 2016. 

2015:
In her Freshman season Salinas appeared in 17 games, scoring (7) runs.

Club Sports: Softball
Acacia played for the Texas Cougars out of San Antonio for (2) years, she was named team MVP.

High School: Sandra Day O'Connor High School (Class of 2014)
Acacia lettered in softball for (2) years and cross-country for (1). She also played volleyball and basketball. Salinas was a member of the Academic All-Conference team.

Personal:
Acacia is the daughter of Monica and Juan Salinas. She has two siblings, Angelica and Nathan Salinas. Her role model is her Dad. Acacia chose TAMIU becuase she always wanted to play college softball and Coach Libby offered the best opportunity. After TAMIU Salinas wants to become an Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist. In her free time she enjoys reading books.
