2017:
Perez made 32 appearances including 19 starts as a junior in 2017 where she hit .214 with one double on nine hits while driving in one run. The Eagle Pass, Texas native went a season-best 3-for-3 from the plate in a 1-0 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State on April 22. She also helped out defensively with 21 putouts and two assists with one error for a fielding percentage of .971.

2016:
Krystal played in 49 games in her second season at TAMIU. Perez drove in four (4) runs on nine (9) hits.

2015:
Perez appeared in 32 games a Freshman. She was third on the team with (6) stolen bases.

Club Sports: Softball
Krystal played for the San Antonio Nightmare Red from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014 she played for the Texas Challengers (Gold) out of San Antonio, Texas.

High School: Eagle Pass High School (Class of 2014)
Perez lettered in softball for (4) years at Eagle Pass. As a Left-Fielder she was named to the 2013 All-District Second Team. In her Senior season Krystal was named First Team All-District and All-State Honorable Mention.

Personal:
Krystal is the daughter of Rosa and Mario. She has two sisters, Karyna and Kaylee. Perez chose TAMIU for the proximity to her hometown and the softball program made her feel welcomed. Her role model is her Mother. After TAMIU Krystal wants to be a Physical Therapist. In her spare time Perez enjoys reading.
