Frisco, Texas – Texas A&M International men's basketball had two players earn All-Lone Star Conference Awards, announced by the conference Wednesday night.
John Achebe
Achebe earned Second Team All-LSC honors after a great season for the Dustdevils. Achebe also earned LSC All-Defensive Team honors.
Achebe currently averages 10.1 points per game on 50.7% shooting from the field. Achebe averages 6.8 rebounds per game and leads the team with 184. Achebe has tallied a team-high 38 steals this season as well as seven blocks.
Achebe's rebound total puts him seventh in the conference, and he currently sits 15
th in steals. Achebe was also named LSC Defensive Player of the Week in the final week of the regular season.
Olaverr Camacho
Camacho earned himself an LSC Honorable Mention with the impact he has had on the court for the Dustdevils this season. Camacho also earned LSC All-Defensive Team honors.
Camacho averaged 5.6 points per game behind 62.7% shooting from the field. He is second on the team in rebounds with 148 and leads the Dustdevils with 25 blocks.
Camacho sits 10
th in the conference in blocked shots and 17
th in rebounds.
Camacho was also a two-time LSC Defensive Player of the Week this season.
