Box Score Oklahoma Christian defeated Texas A&M International 8-0 in nonconference action on Saturday afternoon at Dustdevil Field.  The win pushed the Lady Eagles to a 2-1 series win over the Dustdevils.

OC (20-21) got all the offense it would need in the first inning when Martha Thomas blasted a three-run home run to left center field to give the Lady Eagles a 3-0 edge with only one out.

TAMIU (18-34) managed just two hits and one walk against OC starter Lindsy Moore.  Both Dustdevil hits were singles by leadoff hitter Kristen LaBuhn.  The Dustdevils did not get a runner into scoring position in the game.

Sarah Johnson (2-10) took the loss after allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits in 4.1 innings of work.

TAMIU will conclude the regular season next weekend with a road series at Oklahoma Panhandle State.  The Dustdevils control their own destiny in regards to earning a berth in the upcoming Heartland Conference Tournament.
