Dustdevils End Season With 17th Place Finish In NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – Texas A&M International women's golf concluded its trip to the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship and its 2021-22 season, placing 17th in the tournament.
 
As a team, the Dustdevils finished with a third round score of +28 (316) and a total score of +74 (938).

Junior Kristine Torralba was the top player for TAMIU in the field, finishing with a +16 (232) and a round three score of +11 (83) to T-52nd.
 
Graduate student Annika Cedo ended T-67th with a total score of +19 (235) and a +6 (78) final round.

Freshman Bailey Anderson turned in a card of +4 (76) and jumped to a T-82nd with a final total of +23 (239)

Redshirt junior Yuliana Yapur ended with a +9 (81) to place T-85th with a +24 (240), while graduate student Sahara Washington also scored a +9 (81) and ended +25 (241), in a T-90th.

As the season concludes, it was a banner year for the Dustdevils women's golf program. TAMIU placed top five in 10 of 12 tournaments, including two second place finishes, a third place finish in the NCAA Division II West Regional and the brightest highlight of the regular season being the co-championship at the West/South Central Regional preview.
