INDIANAPOLIS - Texas A&M International University redshirt senior women's golfer
Yuliana Yapur heard her name called on the NCAA DII Women's Golf Regional Selection Show on Monday night and will represent TAMIU in the West Region Tournament.
Yapur was outstanding in the Lone Star Conference Championships, finishing with a score of -2 (214) to tie for fifth place.
Yapur is currently 68th in Golfstat's NCAA Division II women's golf rankings.
Yapur finished second at the Jack Brown Invite with a +5 (149), tied for fourth at the Midwestern State Invite with a +13 (229), placed fifth at the Westminster Wasatch Invitational with a +7 (223), finished seventh at the Rattler Invite with a +11 (227), tied for 11th at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate Tournament with a +6 (150), tied for 14th at the Concho River Classic with a +13 (157) and tied for 16th at the West Regional Preview with a +5 (221).
The NCAA DII Women's Golf West Region Tournament will take place Monday, May. 8 through Wednesday, May. 10 in Dallas, Texas.
