2016:
Capello finished her career as a Dustdevil starting all 59 games. Capello picked up 45 hits, 16 RBI, and three (3) homeruns. Capello ranks in the Top 10 all-time in five (5) different categories, and finishes her career as the all-time leader in games played (219).

2015:
As a Junior Chelsea started 50 games for the Dustdevils. Capello had a Batting Average of .314. She recorded 48 hits and had (8) Stolen Bases. Chelsea earned the TAMIU Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award. 

2014:
In her Sophomore season Capello appeared in 56 games. She had 50 hits and 21 RBI.

2013:
As a Freshman Capello appeared in 54 games. She had a Batting Average of .301 with 37 hits and (2) Home Runs. Chelsea was named Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year.  

High School: Lockhart High School (Class of 2012)
Capello lettered in Softball for (4) years at Lockhart. In her Freshman year she recieved the Honorable Mention Award. Chelsea was named Second Team All-District at Third Base her Sophomore year. As a Junior she recieved First Team All-District Honors as a Utility Player. In her Senior season she was named Second Team All-District.

Personal:
Chelsea is the daughter of Michael and Melissa Capello. She has three siblings, Amanda, Brianna and Melanie Capello. Her favorite athlete is Jason Witten. Her favorite sports team is the Dallas Cowboys. Capello's favorite movie is Rush Hour 2. Her favorite vacation spot is the Bahamas. After TAMIU Chelsea wants to be a ER Nurse in Houston. Her favorite quote is Phil 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
