Biography

2017:
Parmin finished her four-year career making 29 starts at second base for the Dustdevils where the San Antonio, Texas native hit .158 with six hits on 38 at-bats and eight walks for an on-base percentage of .319. She was outstanding in the field with 43 putouts, 35 errors and seven errors for a fielding percentage of .918.

2016:
Anna started 56 games for the Dustdevils in 2016. Over those games Parnin hit two (2) homeruns, drove in 21 RBI, and tallied 33 hits.

2015:
Anna appeared in 49 games as a Sophomore. Anna was the TAMIU Softball Team’s Gold Glove winner.

2014:
In her Freshman season Anna appeared in 44 games. She had 16 hits and 10 RBI. 

High School: Louis D. Brandeis High School (Class of 2013)
Anna played Second Base in high school lettering in softball for (4) years. She was named First Team All-District and was given the Bronco Award.

Personal:
Anna is the daughter of Mark and Lisa Parnin. She has a twin sister, Brenda who also plays Dustdevil Softball. Her favorite athlete is Craig Biggio. Anna's favorite sports team is the Texas Rangers. Her favorite Book is 50 Shades of Grey. Her favorite vacation spot is Hawaii. Anna chose TAMIU because the campus is beautiful and the coaching staff. After TAMIU Anna wants to become a Physical Therapist. Anna's role model is her Mother. In her free time Anna enjoys watching Netflix and playing with her dog.
