Cole began her collegiate career at Frank Phillips College in Borger, Texas. During her time at Frank Phillips, Journey recieved her Associates of Science. 

Club Sports: Corpus Christi Panthers
Journey played (4) years of club softball for the Corpus Christi Panthers.

High School:Aransas Pass High School (Class of 2013)
Cole lettered in (4) sports during her time at Aransas Pass. Journey lettered in softball for (4) years, basketball for (3) years, golf for (2) years, and cross-country for (2) years. On the diamond Cole was awarded (3) MVP titles, named All-State twice, First Team All-District (3) times, All Academic Team (3) times, and named to the All-South Texas Team (2) times. On the court Cole earned First Team All-District Honors (3) times and was named to the All-Academic Team (3) times. 

Personal:
Journey is the daughter of Misty and Jerry Cole. She has a brother Dylan Cole. Journey chose TAMIU because it is close to home and the campus is beautiful. Her role model is Michael Jordan. Cole's favorite quote is "I've failed over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed". After TAMIU Journey plans to become a Nurse Practitioner and be able to give back to her parents. In her spare time Cole enjoys watching Netflix.
