2016:
Molina was the goalkeeper of choice as he made 13 appearances including 12 starts for the Dustdevils after joining the team this fall as a transfer. He finished his first season in Laredo with a 4-8-0 record including two shutouts in wins against Eastern New Mexico and St. Mary’s. He made 38 saves on 107 shots faced for a save percentage of .717. He allowed 15 goals in 1183 minutes of action for a 1.14 goals against average.

Molina played (4) years of soccer as their Goalkeeper as well as (4) years of football as a Linebacker. He earned was named Team MVP for consecutive seasons from 2012 through 2014 and earned All-District for the 2013-2014 season.

Molina played Goalkeeper for the Texas Longhorns Soccer Club.

Personal: Roberto Molina is son of Jazmina and Carlos Molina. He is joined by his two sisters Lizzeth and Jeniffer. Molina decided to transfer to TAMIU becuase he enjoyed the school and felt embraced by the people by making him feel welcomed. His most inspiational figure is Memo Ochoa, Goalkeeper for the Mexican National Soccer Team. His aspirations and goals is to keep pushing himslef by striving to be the best he can be. His favorite athlete comes from his inspirational figure, Memo Ochoa. In his spare time, Molina likes to play soccer or go to the gym.

Molina earned an Associates degree in Science at Northern Oklahoma College.
