2018:
Solis made 12 starts on the mound for the Dustdevilsin 2018 where he went 2-5 in 62 innings of work. He allowed 53 runs (42 earned) on 83 hits and 28 walks with 35 strikeouts. Picked up his first career victory as a Dustdevilgoing seven strong against Houston-Victoria allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out five. Struck out a season-high seven in his first start of the season against Cameron on Feb. 9. 

High School: 
Solis played varsity baseball for three years at United High School, Laredo TX.

Personal: Solis is the son to Marina and Ruben. He is the brother Alisa and Lorena. Solis chose TAMIU because it gave him a great opportunity to continue his education and baseball career. Solis says TAMIU is a great university and him playing baseball there lets him play in a tough conference in front of his very own family. His father is his inspirational figure. On his free time, he enjoys going to the ranch, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
