Made two starts in goal for the Dustdevils making seven saves in 108:47 minutes of action. He picked up his first career victory on the final day of the season making seven saves in a 6-1 victory over St Mary’s.

Personal: Samuel Lopez is son of Maria and Samuel Lopez. He is joined by his lone sister Roxanne. Lopez chose to transfer to TAMIU to be closer to home. His most inspirational figures are his parents, Maria and Samuel. His future aspiration and goals is to be able to provide for his parents so that all their necessary needs are met and so that they may not have to work. His favorite athlete is Jorge Campos, former Mexican National Team Goalkeeper. In his spare time, Lopez like to train the local kids in the community.
