2016:
Arreola will compete as a Sophomore for the Dustdevils.

2015:
As a Freshman Arreola was named Heartland Conference Runner of the Week twice. In his first collegiate meet he finished 2nd with a time of 17:22 (TAMIU Invitational). At the Rice Inviational Arreola placed in the Top 50 in a Division 1 dominated field. Jesse continued his success placing 6th at the Corpus Christi Islander Splash. At the SWTJC Invitational Arreola placed 1st with a time of 16:44. Arreola finished 26th at the Heartland Conference Championships.

High School: Del Rio High School (Class of 2015)
Arreola lettered in track and cross country for (3) years at Del Rio. In his Senior season Jesse was named District 6A Track Area Champion in the 3200m and 1600m events. Jesse was also District Champion in the 3200m and 1600m events. As a member of the Del Rio Cross Country team Arreola made it to the Regional Championships in 2014. In his Senior season he was named All-District and All-Region. 
 
Personal:
Jesse is the son of Jaqueline Arreola. He has three siblings, Abraham, Gabriela and Lucero. His role model is Coach Smith. Jesse chose TAMIU for the opportunities it offered. After TAMIU Arreola wants to be a Special Operations Border Patrol Agent. In his spare time Jesse enjoys lifting weights and eating.
