2016:
Cesar will compete as a Junior for the Dustdevils.

2015:
Esquivel's Sophomore year was highlighted with a 13th place finish at the TAMIU Invitational in Laredo, Texas. Cesar finished with a time of 20:11.

2014:
Cesar competed in his first collegiate season for the Dustdevils.

High School: Cigarroa High School (Class of 2014)
During his time at Cigarroa Cesar lettered in cross country for (4) years, THSPA Powerlifting for (2) years, and football for (1) year. In his Junior season Cesar was an All-Academic Athlete for the Cigarroa Footballl team. 

Personal: 
Cesar is the son of Christina and Cesar. He has five siblings, Efrain Ramirez, Kassandra Ramirez, Carlos Esquivel, Jose Lara III, and Javier Esquivel. He chose TAMIU because of the role TAMIU played in his life previously and the pride of being a Dustdevil. After TAMIU Cesar wants to pursue a Doctorate Degree in the medical field. In his spare time Cesar enjoys running, lifting weights, eating at buffets, reading fiction, going to the movies, and hanging out with friends.
