Personal: 
Blaine Elizalde is Freshman Pitcher for Texas A&M International University and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration. A native of Houston, Texas, Blaine is the son of Rudy and Shelly Elizalde and was born on September, 19, 2006. His uncle Ryon Smith played College Golf at Prairie View A&M University and his grandfather Bob Smith was inducted into the Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame in Roping. 

High school:
Blaine Elizalde played baseball for the Gregory-Portland High school in Portland, Texas. In his four years of play he received  2x 29-5A First Team All-District Pitcher , 2x All South Texas Team Pitcher 2nd Team and 3 time winner of STHSB Pitcher of The Week. In his senior year he made 10 starts in 12 appearances, recording a 3.75 ERA with 55 strikeouts in 56 innings of work.
