Before playing at TAMIU Soto played for the Whitecaps of Galveston,TX under head coaches Brian Reinke and Ryne Edmonson where he hit .345 AVG, 48 RBIs, 3 HR, and 15 doubles. He received  2nd team all conference OF, 1st team all conference INF, 2nd team all region INF.

High school:
Saul Soto played four years of baseball at Sharyland High School in Mission, TX. There he helped his team win a district championship in 2018, hitting a .390 batting average also received the hit by pitch record before graduating in 2022.
