Competed in three meets for the Dustdevils in 2017 highlighted by a 24
th place finish at the Islander Splash covering the four-mile course in 25:10.3. He also finished 45
th at the IUW Invitational running 30:11.4 for 8,000-meters. Finished 256
th at the MSSU Southern Stampede running 31:07.80 for 8K.
2016:
Davila competed in two meets for the Dustdevils as a transfer highlighted with a 24
th place finish at the Islander Splash. He covered the 8,000-meter course in 33:03.0 in the meet hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. He finished 135
th at the Rice Invitational in his first collegiate race at TAMIU.

Davila earned an Associates Degree while with the Palominos.

Davila ran cross country and track all (4) years for the Bulldogs. He earned All-City honors during his time there.
Personal: Antonio Davila is the son of Luz Maria and Antonio Davila and is joined by his only sister Karla. Davila chose TAMIU becuase of its awesome environment and because it makes hit feel right at home. His most inspirational figure is St. Maximilian Kolbe, a Saint/Priest in the Catholic faith who, during the Nazi occupation in Auschwitz concentration camp, volunteeringly gave up his life for another prisoner. Davila's future aspirations is to use all his God-given gifts to help and better other people. His favorite athlete is Time Duncan, a former San Antonio Spurs legend. In his spare time, Davila enjoys reading Sacred Scripture, specifically the Gospel of St. John, and hanging out with friends.
